NetMundial is a global meeting on aspects of Internet Governance reform, being held in Brazil on 23-24 April 2014. Information is available online at There are two main streams of discussion planned: on principles to guide Internet governance, and on reform of the Internet governance ecosystem.

InternetNZ's contribution is on the latter stream, and essentially endorses a submission co-authored by Milton Mueller and Brenden Kuerbis. The theme is the globalisation of ICANN's IANA function, and Mueller and Kuerbis present a model that we feel has much promise in how to make changes to current arrangements.
